Lorne Huber

Lorne Huber of Gull Lake, Saskatchewan and formerly of Moose Jaw passed away on Monday, November 23rd, 2009 in the Cypress Regional Hospital in Swift Current, at the age of 58 years. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 27th, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Rev. Doug Shepherd will officiate and burial will take place at Rosedale Cemetery. Lorne was predeceased by his father Harold, his step-father Donald, his grandparents, and his nephew Scott. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 37 yearsMaria; his son Troy (Candie); his daughter Crystal; two grandchildren Alyssa and Reece; his mother Dorothy McPherson; five sisters Dianna (Les) Gray, Linda Huber, Carol (Jay) Odynski, Bonnie (Mark) Meikle and Tania (Ches) Meikle; and numerous other relatives. Lorne was born and educated in Moose Jaw. He trained as a cook in Medicine Hat and worked in various restaurants in Saskatchewan and Alberta. He married Maria Richard in Moose Jaw on June 2nd, 1972. Lorne enjoyed fishing, watching wrestling and was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Flowers are gratefully declined.
