Renny J. Hodgson
October 30th, 1931 – March 2nd, 2011
Renny Hodgson, aged 79 years, passed away peacefully at Pioneer Lodge in Moose Jaw, SK., having resided there for 11 years. Renny was born in Chaplin and later employed by Sask. Minerals as a Lab Tech until retirement. Renny was predeceased by parents, Frank and Nettie Hodgson of Chaplin, SK. and brothers-in-law, George McCauley of Saskatoon, SK. and Dr. Eric Stark of Kelowna, BC. Renny is survived by three sisters, Frances McCauley of Saskatoon, SK., Jane Stark of Kelowna, BC. and Carole (Rod) Wakeford of Moose Jaw, SK.; brother, Neil (Barbara) Hodgson of Regina, SK.; as well as by many nieces and nephews. Renny had many talents such as art, poetry which was published in the Sask. Poetry Book, music and had a great love for animals, plants and astronomy. A Private Burial Service will be arranged at a later date. Perhaps this wanderer
strayed awhile –
For paths grow
dark and steep –
But summer sunlight
touched his heart –
Before he went to sleep.
