Frances Hirst

Frances Hirst of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan passed away on Monday, May 25th, 2009 at the age of 90 years. In keeping with Frances’ wishes no funeral service will be held. Family and friends are invited to gather for a time of fellowship on Tuesday, June 2nd, 2009 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the Harvey Room at Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Frances was born in Welwyn, Saskatchewan. She married Stan Hirst in 1943 and has resided in Moose Jaw until her passing. Frances worked at Leonard Fysh Drugstore and Singer Sewing Centre. She was predeceased by her parents Lillian and Harry Jessop, her husband Stan, 2 sisters Frieda Hirst and Lillian Aitken, 2 brothers Harry and Lorne Jessop, and 2 nephews Wayne Apostle and Bob Asselstine. Frances will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Marjorie Keenan; her son Ron (Lynne) Hirst; grandchildren Jamie Keenan, Jeff Hirst and Suzanne Chmilar; great grandchildren Danielle Keenan, Brendan and Brianne Chmilar; great great granddaughter Tyler Keenan; 2 sisters Vearl Asselstine and Weleena Apostle; her brother-in-law Ken Hirst; and numerous other relatives.
