Myrna Hill (nee Myers)
Myrna Hill (nee Myers) of Moose Jaw, passed away at home surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer on August 29th, 2017. She met her future husband, Bub Hill, in 1967. They ranched in the Old Wives district before moving into Briercrest and running a taxidermy and archery shop. Myrna was born a city girl but quickly adapted to farm life and became an accomplished archer and bow hunter. Once her children were grown, she returned to school and received her diploma in massage therapy. She operated a successful business in Moose Jaw up until 2016. Myrna enjoyed gardening; she loved to travel and visited various parts of the world. She was a principle part of her grandchildren’s life and for the last few years they were her inspiration. Myrna is survived by her husband Bub; her children, Tristan and Kyla, both of Moose Jaw; her grandchildren, Keenan (Brianna) of Ituna; Cassandra and Brea of Saskatoon; Ellie and Emma of Moose Jaw, her great grandchild, Raelynn of Ituna; her sisters Rita, Joyce (Gary), Edna, Beverly (Wilf), Rhonda (Pete), Shelley and Kim (Ray); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A come and go tea will be held on Monday, September 4th, 2017 at the Sportsman Center, 276 Home Street East, Moose Jaw SK., between 2:00 – 5:00 pm. Everyone is welcome. In lieu of flowers, donations in Myrna’s name may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.
