Patricia “Pat” Henrickson

Mrs. Patricia “Pat” Henrickson (nee: Crapley), aged 71 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 8th, 2012 after a short battle with cancer.  She fought the disease with a smile on her face, and was always able to keep her sense of humour and bring joy to the people around her.  A Celebration of Pat’s Life will be held on Saturday, July 21st, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home with Pastor Marvin Seaborg officiating.  She was predeceased by her parents, John and Viola Crapley; husband, Robert “Mike”; daughter, Susan; brothers: Howard, Delmar “Gus” and Russel “Al”; and sister, Elaine.  Pat will be lovingly remembered by sisters: Verna, Donna and Marilyn; brother, Art; daughters, Janet (Mike) Goodwin and Lynn(Ron) Wilder; son, Todd (Brigette) Henrickson; 11 grandchildren: Aimee, Brett (Ashley), Brayden, Broc and Aaryn Goodwin, Mariah and Devin Wilder, and Brandon, BrookeLyn, Gabrielle and Chloe Henrickson; 1 great-grandson, Luke Goodwin; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  Pat was completely devoted to her family, they were everything to her.  Pat was a loving, compassionate woman with a wonderful, bubbly personality and contagious laugh that will live in all of our hearts forever.  Pat retired from Scott/Moose Jaw Ford after 24+ years of service.  After her retirement, Pat spent numerous hours volunteering at the ANAVETS (Ladies Auxiliary) and at High Park Towers (Assoc. President).  When time permitted, she also enjoyed many social events with her friends: playing cards, bingo, shuffleboard and tea.  In memory of Pat, donations may be made to The Canadian Diabetes Assoc., 917A Albert St., Regina, SK S4R 2P6 or to the Canadian Cancer Society, 61B Ross St. W., Moose Jaw, SK S6H 2M2.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  James Murdock, Funeral Director. 693-4550.
