Grace Elizabeth Henningsen (née Dahl)

Grace Elizabeth Henningsen (née Dahl), aged 79 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away on Thursday, February 5th, 2015 with her loving husband Larry by her side.  Grace had a wonderful career as an elementary school teacher and touched the lives of many children in Saskatchewan schools.  Grace was multi-talented and created the most intricate pieces of needle-point, cake decorating and crocheting, and was venturing into watercolour painting and pencil art.  Her gentle spirit and wise ways made her a sought after community contributor and she lent her many talents to her church and community groups.  While vibrant and healthy most of her life, Grace battled cancer for the last three years before suffering a terrible stroke at the end of January.  A devoted wife and mother, Grace is missed by Larry and her five children: Debra, Rhonda, Brent, Bradley and Shannon, along with her twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  A Memorial Service for Grace will take place on Tuesday, February 10th, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home with Pastor Barry Taylor officiating.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Gary McDowell, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
