HENNENFENT, ROY JOSEPH
February 21st, 1936 – August 18th, 2013

Roy’s family is deeply saddened to announce the loss of their husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.  Dad passed away peacefully at Extendicare in Moose Jaw at the age of 77 years.  Predeceased by his parents Mary and Joseph Hennenfent, his sister Rosie (Graas) and his brother Joe.  Roy is survived by his sister, Bessie Hawken of Calgary, AB; and brothers, Ray Hennenfent (Glenda) of Moose Jaw, SK and Ron Hennenfent (Myrtle) of Caron, SK.  Roy will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 45 years, Betty Ann (Colenutt); his daughter, Janice (grandchildren Megan and Joshua) of Moose Jaw, SK; and his three sons: Jamie (Kari, grandchildren Ashley and Autumn) of Illinois, Joel (Emiko) of Moose Jaw, SK and Jordan (Candice, grandchild Hudson) of Moose Jaw, SK.  He will also be fondly remembered by special neighbors, nieces and nephews, cousins and countless friends from the baseball and fastball communities.  The family would like to thank the staff at Extendicare for the care provided to Roy and his family.  The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 23rd, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. in Minto United Church, 1036 7th Ave. N.W.
