Helen Elizabeth Hemstalk

Helen Elizabeth Hemstalk, aged 89 years of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan passed away on Monday, September 3 rd, 2007. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 6 th, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. in the Providence Place Chapel. Pastor Bill Thomson will officiate and interment will take place at Rosedale Cemetery. Helen was predeceased by her husband John Hemstalk and sister Jean Hunter. She is survived by her nieces and nephew Pat Sweet, Judy Teague, Betty Phelps, Allan Hunter; and special friend Anne Chambers. Helen worked as a secretary at City Hall here in Moose Jaw. She enjoyed curling, golf, lawn bowling, and many crafts. She was a member of Eastern Star and of Club 16 at St. Andrew’s United Church. Helen was also very involved in the Red Cross and Elections Canada. Providence Place was Helen’s home for the past 12 years and they took exceptional care of her.
