Ida Mae Hayter

Ida Mae Hayter of Moose Jaw , Saskatchewan passed away on Monday, January 15 th , 2007 at the age of 86 years. The Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 18 th , 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane . Rev. Doug Shepherd will officiate. Ida was born in the Fife Lake district and received her education there. She married Robert Hayter in 1947 and farmed in the Fife Lake District, until 1954 when they moved to Galilee , Sask. Here, Ida operated a Garage/Grocery Store until 1958 when she moved to Moose Jaw . In Moose Jaw she was employed at Prairie bag and later the Union Hospital, where she worked until her retirement. In 2002, Ida moved to Providence Place and lived there until her passing. Ida was predeceased by her husband Robert in 1971; two sisters Ruth and Isabelle; and one brother in infancy. Ida will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her companion Don Sjoberg ; son Dwayne ; two grandchildren Michael (Melissa) Hayter and Marnie Hayter; two great grandchildren Jaiden and Breckyn; sister Georgina (Clarence) Tindall; the Sjoberg family and also numerous other relatives.
