George Aldor Hawkins
George Aldor Hawkins of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, passed away on Thursday, November 16th, 2006 at the age of 81 yrs. At George’s request a private family graveside will be held. Padre Doug Shepherd will officiate and burial of cremains will take place in the Veterans section in Rosedale Cemetery. A come and go tea will be held for family and friends on Wednesday, November 22nd, 2006 from 2-3:30pm in the Army, Navy, and Air Force Veterans, 112 1st Ave NE. Veterans Rights will be under the direction of Dayle Evenson of the Army, Navy, and Air Force Veterans unit #252. George will be lovingly remembered by his wife Marjorie; his children Dennis (Gabi), Gloria (Frank), McGibney, Dwayne (Pat), Kevin (Sue); nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren; sister Joyce (Willis) McPherson. He lived most of his life in Moose Jaw and he proudly volunteered to serve his country during World War II wit the Highland Light Infantry. He will be missed for his sharp wit and great sense of humor.
