Vera Isabel Haug

Vera Isabel Haug (Nee Bobier) born July 28th, 1921, passed away on Wednesday, November 28th, 2007. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 1st, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Jim Sikorski will be the speaker. Vera was predeceased by her husband Hilman in 1992; grandson Sheldon Deets in 1968; parents Arthur and Verna Bobier; sisters Muriel Fuller, Fern Bobier, Elsie Haug, Ruth Downton; brothers Fred and Willis; brothers in law Lorry Haug and Bill Pavier; sister in law Adelaine Bobier. Vera is survived by her daughters Gail (Arthur) Deets of Mossbank, Colleen (Brent) Dayton of Regina; son Blaine of Vancouver; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother Garnet (Elaine) Bobier of Kelowna; sister Lucille Gustafson of Saskatoon; sisters in law Doris (Ralph Christensen) and Joan Pavier of Moose Jaw and Pat Bobier of Calgary; as well as many nieces and nephews. Vera and Hilman farmed in the Mossbank/Courval area until 1963 when they moved to Moose Jaw where Vera cared for Hilman until his passing. She was an avid golfer and she loved to help others learn of God’s Kingdom as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She had a firm hope in the resurrection promise.
