SANDRA HASSLER
August 7th, 1954 – October 30th, 2015

Sandra Annette Hassler, aged 61 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away at home on Friday, October 30th, 2015, embraced by her husband and family, from late stages of breast cancer.  She was predeceased by her parents, Martha (née Coppicus) and Peter Hassler; her grandparents; as well as several aunts and uncles.  Sandra is survived by her loving husband, Lionel Meszaros; son, Ian Muldoon; son, Chris Muldoon and his family Natalie Voth, Devin Muldoon and Brandon Zimmer; son, Scott Muldoon and his family Angela, Jordyn and Tyler; Lionel’s family: Leah Cloutier and her family Brian, Zach, Brady and Jesi, and Arin Meszaros and his family Sara and Abby; brothers and sister: Rodney Hassler (Sandy), Barry Hassler (Raye), Gordon Hassler (Donna), Laurelle Pachal (Craig); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  Sandy grew up and attended school at Windthorst, SK.  Following graduation, she attended Wascana Institute where she obtained a diploma in nursing.  She moved to Moose Jaw in 1974 where she lived, raised her family and worked as a registered nurse.  Sandy’s greatest passions were her family, her profession and her close friends.  In 2010, Sandy rediscovered a friendship and love when she renewed a relationship with Lionel.  They wed on December 31st, 2014.  Sandra will be remembered for her capacity for love and caring, her unfailing optimism and hope, and her rock solid strength in the face of adversity.  A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, November 5th, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Sandra’s name may be made to Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre St, Regina, SK S4P 2R3.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Calvin Gammel, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
