Marie Diana Christine Harris
Marie Diana Christine Harris, aged 60 years of Moose Jaw, SK passed away on Tuesday, January 7th, 2020. We lost a mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and above all a great friend to many. She was predeceased by her father, Arnold “Harry”. Christine will be lovingly remembered by her mother, Marielle; sons, Brandon Mauro and Dylan (Téa); grandson, Connor; brothers, Martin (Debbie) and Daniel (Candace); nephew, Rylan; and niece, Katie. Chris loved to learn and teach others what she learned. Part of her life where she was the happiest was when she was teaching, and of course spending time with her boys. Her boys were her life. Always so proud and loving of them. She was involved in all of their sports such as hockey, lacrosse, baseball, and any other sport they participated in. She was at every game, helping with every tournament, fundraiser or event she could. Chris loved hockey, her family, baseball and shopping. She was always up to something, whether it would be sporting events, camping, or just going to the lake to hang out for the day. You would likely catch her shopping for jewelry, candles, angels, or whatever caught her eye at the time. As most will remember, she had a huge passion for angels. Heaven now has one more Angel watching above. You will be missed. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 13th, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in Church of Our Lady, 566 Vaughan St, Moose Jaw, SK. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Christine’s name may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, Unit 26 – 1738 Quebec Ave, Saskatoon, SK S7K 1V9. Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane. Andrew Pratt Funeral Director 306-693-4550.

I made Chris laugh and she made me laugh. That is how we met back in our young & single days at a party. She worked on the base then at the mess. We hung out, had fun, and good talks together( often about guys)and then she and her Mom Marielle were working at Extendicare when My Dad, ( Harry Cropp)then my Grandparents Lillian & Nelson Campbell went in there. She also was working there when my Mom Jean Cropp went in. It was so good to have a friend in there when dealing with all that. I know she was a hockey Mom because I heard so many stories when I would visit from out of prov. I doubt the boys would remember me but I did see them a few times when the were little. It was so nice when they painted her room lilac because that was her favourite colour . I visited her before Christmas and gave her lotion, jokes and a Choc bar which she couldn’t eat. Felt bad about that…I know she loved Chocolate. She knew me..that was a blessing. I can picture her with a beer, a steak and chocolate sundae watching her fav game and cheering away.God bless you all and know she will be missed.
Marielle and Family I’m so sorry to hear of the passing of Christine. She was a dear friend and will be missed .Rest in Paradise Christine.

I worked with Chris a few years ago at Parkside Extendicare. She was a kind soul always willing to give a hand when needed that had a great sense of humor. With deepest sympathy as you remember Chris. May care and love of those around you provide comfort and peace to get you through the days ahead.
