Marg Harris
Marg Harris (née Tremblay) passed away peacefully at home on Friday, April 23rd, 2021. Marg was born on March 31st, 1939, the ninth of eleven children born to Joseph and Delvina Tremblay (née Blanchette). Marg had fond memories of growing up with her siblings in Courval, SK. She moved to Moose Jaw, SK as a young adult and worked as a nurse’s aide. Marg met the love of her life, Keith Harris, introduced by her brother. Keith and Marg married on July 15th, 1961 and would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this year. They moved out to the farm in February 1964. Marg loved living out in the country. She would always look forward to sitting out on the deck and admiring her flower garden and the birds. Of all things, Marg adored her family the most and always looked forward to spending time with them. Marg is lovingly survived by her beloved husband, Keith; her children: Leona (Darrel) Werdal, Robert Harris (Dory) and Perry (Susy) Harris; grandchildren: Miranda (Greg), Brett (Amanda), Harrison (Taryn), Giavoni, Breanne (Tony), Dylan, Delvina, Ian and Michelle; great-grandchildren: Alexis, Ben, Asher, Bennett and Joseph; as well as former daughter-in-law, Cheryl Nelson. Marg was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Delvina; her siblings: Julia (Emile), Florence (Roland), Yvonne (Frank), Olivier, Reo (Kathleen), Armand, Greg, Bernie, Edward (Faye) and Joseph. Marg is also survived by her sisters-in-law: Yvette Tremblay, Darlene Beaudin, Claire Smith and Betty Tremblay. She will also be missed by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends. At Marg’s request, a Private Family Gathering will take place at a later date. My Mom and Dad thought the world of Marg. She was so full of fun. Great talks in the aisles of the Co op or by the side of the road, or just hanging out in the farm yard. Her memory will be cherished as she impacted so my lives. Brett Julie and Matthew have fond memories of her. She will be missed indeed.

I’m so sorry Perry to hear of your Mothers passing and to all of her family. Your Mom and I got to know each other pretty well while at Providence Place Geriatric Assessment Unit. She and I were table mates and we had our share of laughs. I will remember her sense of humor. RIP dear friend.
