GERALD “JERRY” HARLOS

July 5th, 1951 – August 18th, 2024

Gerald “Jerry” Gottfried Harlos aged 73 years of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 18th, 2024.

He was predeceased by his parents, Gottfried and Agnes Harlos; and brother-in-law, Don Scheller. Jerry will be greatly missed by his children, Justin (Sarah) Harlos and Janelle (Cole) Halldorson; grandchildren, Emma and Benjamin; brother Dennis (Michelle) Harlos; sisters: Carol Scheller, Twyla (Rob) Miller, Glenda (Glenn) Klein, and Lorraine (Barry) Ludwar; along with many other friends and family members.

Jerry worked hard and lived his life with joy and was always willing to lend any of his friends a helping hand.  He was a generous man who had many skills.  He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Toronto Blue Jays and Maple Leafs.

In keeping with Jerry’s wishes, no formal funeral service will be held.  Those who wish to pay their respects may join us on Friday, August 23rd, 2024, at the Eagles Hall at 561 Home St. W in Moose Jaw at 2:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Jerry’s name may be made to the Canadian Lung Association, 885 Meadowlands Dr, Suite 502, Ottawa, ON K2C 3N2.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Michelle Ellis, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
