Bryan William Hardman
With heavy hearts our family announces the passing of Bryan William Hardman, with family members by his side, on Tuesday, July 16th, 2024, at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, SK.
Bryan was born on May 10th, 1949, in Welland, Ontario and grew up in the Kitchener/Waterloo area. As a young man, he got into the trades as a plumber and moved to Hanover, Ontario where he started his family, marrying Karen (Krieg) Wagner and having three children together that were his pride and joy. After their divorce in 1987, Bryan took on the job of pipefitting and followed the pipeline through various areas of Canada. It was in Moose Jaw that he met his soulmate Carol Buckton, marrying her in Las Vegas on April 15th, 1993. Shortly after their wedding, the pair bought a motel and restaurant in Carrot River, SK and moved there to live a happy, successful life full of love, respect and friendship until Carol passed away in 2007. Bryan was a dedicated husband and family man who loved his life in Carrot River and chose to remain there until the end. He stayed close to his stepdaughter and her family, was an incredible grandfather to their children, and was blessed with the love and happiness of being a part of his great-granddaughter’s life through her first two years. He also had many friends who are going to miss him greatly.
He was predeceased by his parents, Gladys and Eric Hardman; wife, Carol Hardman; granddaughter, Charesa McIlvenna; and brothers, Eric and Wayne Hardman.
