Basil Camden Green

Basil Camden Green of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan passed away on Saturday, April 4th, 2009 at the age of 96 years. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 11th, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Moose Jaw Cemetery. Basil was predeceased by his parents Mary and Alfred Green; his infant sister Marjorie; his brother Charles; sisters-in-law Janet, Marian and May Green. He is survived by his brothers, Fred of Ottawa, Ont. and Howard (Eileen) of Melfort, Sask.; and numerous nieces and nephews. After spending some years in Saskatoon, Basil returned to farm in the Moose Jaw district. He was an educated man who believed that you never stopped learning. Basil enjoyed the company of friends, neighbours and family. He was a gentle person and will be missed by all who knew him.
