James Ralph Graham
James Ralph Graham (Jim) of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan passed away peacefully with his family by his side, on Wednesday, October 21st, 2009 at the age of 82 years. Jim was born in Moose Jaw and received his education here. He worked at Canada Packers for 42 years. Jim served in the Canadian Army in WWII and the Korean War. He was predeceased by his brother John, his sister Ruth and his nephew John. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 53 years, Mavis; his son Larry (Jan); his daughter Karen; 3 grandchildren Tyler (Tara), Jaydi (Rob) and Kelsie; his brother Bill (Kay); his sister-in-law Kay; and numerous nieces and nephews. In keeping with Jim’s wishes there will be no funeral service. A Celebration of Jim’s Life will be held at a Come & Go Tea on Monday, October 26th, 2009 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the Legion Hall, 268 High St. West, with a short program beginning at 1:30 p.m. Legion Rites will be observed by Roscoe Steele of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #59. Flowers are gratefully declined. For those so wishing, memorial donations in Jim’s name may be made to the Salvation Army, 175 – 1st Ave. N.E., Moose Jaw, Sask.
