William Ralph Gould
William Ralph Gould of Moose Jaw, SK passed away on Tuesday, May 25th, 2021 at 95 years of age. Bill was born on October 25th, 1925 in Central Butte, SK to Russel and Myrtle Gould. Bill enjoyed coaching fastball, playing cards and shuffleboard and was an avid curler…some say he was even a little competitive. He loved raising horses and was involved and supported the community 4H program. Bill was a very proud farmer, and did everything from scratch. He had very gifted hands and loved to fix and build anything he could. But what he was most proud of and loved doing more than anything, was spending time with his family and the grandkids. Bill was predeceased by his parents, Russel and Myrtle; first wife, Helen; granddaughter, Brandy and step son, Tim Dreger. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Shirley; son, Ron (Barb) with Leigha (Chris), Michelle (Lewis) and son-in-law, Jeremy; daughter, Judy (Brad) with Becky (Trevor), Mandy (Andrew) and Steve (Robyn); step-son, Garth (Sherri), Crystal (Darryl) and Ryan (Rachelle); step-daughter, Nola, Ashley (Al) and Austin (Jackie). Due to the restrictions regarding the current health situation, a Private Family Service will be held. Friends and Family are invited to view the Celebration of Bill’s Life virtually on Tuesday, June 1st, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. by going to www.moosejawfuneralhome.com/webcast/. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Bill’s name may be made to The Moose Jaw Health Foundation 55 Diefenbaker Drive, Moose Jaw, SK S6J 0C2. Shirley and family, so sorry to hear of Bill’s passing. I have many memories of Bill from Thunder Creek curling rink, and in recent years, as part of the coffee group who met at the Co-op and then A&W. Also, as a good friend to our parents at The Bentley and West Park.
My thoughts and prayers are with Shirley, Ron, Judy and all the families. I treasures the memories of all the time I spent at Bill and Helen’s farm when I was growing up. They were like second parents to me and taught me so many life lessons – to be kind, to be thoughtful, to be independent, resourceful and strong. And, to enjoy the simple pleasures God gave us, like a sunset over a field of grain. Bill will be greatly missed but will always be in my heart.
Judy and Brad,Ron and barb ,,thinking about you today and will be with you at 3,00 our time. Thank you both for keeping us up to date on Bill’s progress over the years.

To Shirley, Ron and Judy. Sincere condolences to you on the passing of Bill, a long-time friend from Parkbeg days and beyond. Over the years we kept up to date on our families. He always reminded me that I was born Feb. 1 and Judy was born Aug. 1 of the same year, saying that’s how he knew my true age!!! I remember spending the night on a sleep-over with Judy and being driven part way to school on the tractor. I got to sit on the seat while Bill stood behind me so I wouldn’t fall off!!!! What an adventure for a town kid.
You will have so many wonderful memories to keep Bill alive and with you. Again, my sympathy to the whole family.
Aunt Shirley, my deepest sympathies I send to you and your family, all though I was not at service, I watched virtually, a beautiful service for a great man, My heart is with you, and sending big hugs!!!
