Trevor Gordon Gleim
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Trevor Gordon Gleim on Friday, November 20th, 2009 at the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton, at the age of 47 years. Trevor’s courageous battle with a lengthy illness came to a peaceful finale with his loving family by his side. Trevor was born to Gordon and Eleanor Gleim on June 20th, 1962 in Herbert, Saskatchewan. He attended school in Morse, later he moved to Moose Jaw with his family where he attended William Grayson School and Central Collegiate. After graduating from high school, he attended college in Saskatoon and became a chef. He was employed at Super Meats and Fifth Avenue Collection, later he moved to Regina. Trevor married the love of his life, Michelle Zess on October 31st, 1998 and they made their home in Regina where he was employed at Sarcan until his passing. Trevor was a wonderful man with a warm smile, quiet gentle nature and a kind word for everyone. He enjoyed special times with his parents, sisters and brothers. He was a great collector of Elvis Presley music and never missed a chance to add another item to his collection. He was predeceased by his grandparents Phillip and Marie Deobald, George and Minnie Gleim, uncles Harvey and Ralph Deobald, cousin Jamie Deobald, and brother-in-law Stewart Zess. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Michelle; his parents Gordon and Eleanor Gleim; his sister Rose (Gord), Arran, Harris and Evyn Hamilton; brothers Phillip (Cheryl), Chelsey (Brant) and Jillian Gleim, Lee (Layne), Samantha and Tiana Gleim, Curtis Gleim (Lorrie) and Andrew; father-in-law and mother-in-law Jack and Doreen Zess; brother-in-law Shane (Cara) Brayden and Morgan Zess; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 26th, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Pastor Marvin Seaborg will officiate. Following the luncheon, burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Regina. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Trevor’s name to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Sask., 279 3rd Ave. N., Saskatoon, Sk., S7K 2H8 or to the University of Alberta Hospital, 8440 112 St. N.W., Edmonton, AB.
