Freda Glass

Mrs. Freda Glass formerly of Chaplin, Sask., passed away on Monday, October 6th, 2008 at the Central Butte Regency Manor at the age of 89. Born on a farm north of Chaplin, Freda received her education at Bothwell and Chaplin School. She worked for various folks in the Valjean and Chaplin district. She was predeceased by her parents, Anne and Fred Christensen; sister June Whitney; brother Frank Christensen; son-in-law Ronald Hugli and husband of 59 years, Edward Glass. Freda is survived by her five children Carol (Doug) Torrie of Chaplin, Gordon (Judy) Glass of Watson, Sask., Cindy (Lenard) Folk of Chaplin, Bonnie (Keith) Hampton of Central Butte and Donald (Angie) Glass of Moose Jaw; one sister-in-law Goldia Glass; one brother-in-law Emil (Helen) of Moose Jaw,; thirteen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. The Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 10th, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chaplin Community Complex. Reverend Rick McCorrister will officiate with interment of cremains in Chaplin Cemetery.
