Warren Melvin Glascock
Warren Melvin Glascock, aged 92 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 22nd, 2016. Warren was born on April 7th, 1924 at Shamrock, SK, the 3rd child of eight. He joined the army in 1944 and served overseas from 1944 – 1946. Warren married Lillian Arnold on September 30th, 1949 and farmed in the Shamrock area until 1979, when they sold the farm and moved into Moose Jaw, SK. He worked at the Pool Livestock Division in Moose Jaw for 7 years until he fully retired, which gave him more time to spend with family and more time to spend with his horses, which he loved. He was predeceased by his parents, Roy and Clarice Glascock; brothers, Orville and Wally; sisters: Madeline Mchlheran, Blanche Arnold, and Maxine Glascock. Warren is survived and will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 67 years, Lillian; children: Dallas (Barb), Darryl (Lois), Karen (Bert) Tucker, and Cindy (Brent) McArthur; sisters, Betty (Gary) Gunderson and Bernice (Rudy) Gorr; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Fran Glascock; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 26th, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Dave Foley will officiate and interment will take place at Rosedale Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Warren’s name may be made to Alzheimer Association of Saskatchewan, 301 – 2550–12th Ave, Regina, SK S4P 3X1 or to a charity of one’s choice.
