When I must leave you for a little while,
Please do not grieve and shed wild tears
And hug your sorrow to you through the years,
But start out bravely with a gallant smile;
And for my sake and in my name
Live on and do all things the same,
Feed not your loneliness on empty days,
But fill each waking hour in useful ways,
Reach out your hand in comfort and in cheer
And I in turn will comfort you and hold you near;
And never, never be afraid to die,
For I am waiting for you in the sky!
The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 20th, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Garry Giofu will officiate and interment will take place in Rosedale Cemetery. Those not able to attend may view the service virtually by going to www.moosejawfuneralhome.com/

Deepest condolences to the Giofu family. Always enjoyed the times visiting with Brett when Shirley was over. Lots of laughs.
I express my sincere condolences during this time of deep sorrow. I would like to share the comforting hope the Bible gives that your loved one will live again on a beautiful earth when there will be no more death in John 5:28, 29 and Revelation 21:4.
I am saddened to hear of Shirley’s passing. I worked with Shirley during several years at the Moose Jaw Housing Authority and she was a a terrific colleague. When I last saw her in December, we enjoyed a great visit: she was as witty as ever and looked happy content. I send loving thoughts and prayers to all of her family.
It was sad when I heard that my great grandma passed my condolences
