Florence Audrey Gies

Gies – Florence Audrey Gies of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan passed away with her family by her side on Friday, January 18th, 2008 at the age of 69 years. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 22nd, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Pastor Bill Thomson will officiate. Flo was born in Moose Jaw and received her education here. She married Ed Gies on November 15th, 1958 in Moose Jaw. Flo was employed as a secretary at the Separate School Board for 18 years. With the exception of 1988-1997 when she lived in Victoria, Flo lived her entire life here in Moose Jaw. Flo was predeceased by her parents Ernest and Rose Stevens and one sister Net Emmons. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of 49 years Ed; three daughters Donna (Arnie) Francoeur, Linda (Fintan) Quilty and Brenda(Desmond) Flood; four grandchildren Brandon, Ryan, Jason and Emma; sister Marge (Allan) Watson; and numerous other relatives.
