Darren Gamble
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Darren Gamble, who left us too soon on Saturday, February 22nd, 2025. Born in Moose Jaw, SK on September 17th, 1969, Darren was a beloved member of the Busch family, he was like a brother to Kelly and a lifelong friend to many. He is leaving behind a legacy of lasting friendships that will never be forgotten.
Darren was predeceased by his grandmother, Elsie Uhrich; mother, Judy Gamble; aunt, Verla Uhrich; and uncle, Daryle “Bubs” Uhrich. His passing leaves a void that will never be filled, but we will carry his memory with us always.
Darren’s friendship was a cherished gift to all who knew him. He is survived by his lifelong best friend, Darcy Shultz, and his family from Calgary, AB, who have shared countless memories with him since childhood. Darren held Darcy in the highest regard, with deep love and respect.
Darren is also mourned by his best friend, Steven Perry, with whom he did everything—whether it was rooting for the Boston Bruins, partying into the night, or embarking on countless adventures. Their friendship was built on years of laughter, loyalty, and shared memories that will never fade.
Darren’s circle of friends was wide and close-knit, a few of his lifelong pals include Sammy, Donny, Wade, Warren, Garvey, and Trina, each of whom had a special place in his heart.
Darren was always grateful to Larry and Shiela Brown of Moose Jaw, who welcomed him into their home as one of their own. He had a special bond with their beloved dog, Zeus, whose companionship brought him endless joy.
Professionally, Darren worked at both the Golden Nugget and Casino Moose Jaw before joining the team at FBNDE Ltd and later at the South Hill Car Wash.
Darren’s passing leaves a void that can never be filled, but we will carry his memory with us always. He was a true friend and a cherished family member.
A Celebration of Darren’s Life will be held at a later date, and we will share details with loved ones soon. In the meantime, we ask that all those whose lives Darren touched take a moment to remember him fondly and carry forward the kindness, love, and respect he shared. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Rest in peace, Darren. Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane. Michelle Ellis, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
