Vernon Patrick Frass
Vernon Patrick Frass of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, June 26th, 2009 at the age of 61. Born in Regina, Saskatchewan on March 9th, 1948 he is predeceased by his parents Chris and Frances Frass and brother Donny in infancy. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Sandra; three daughters Cindy (Cory) Johnson; Connie (Darek) Tomyn; Wanda (Boyd) Peakman; six grandchildren Mackenzie and Bryce Johnson; Kurtis and Emily Tomyn; Taylor and Kayli Peakman; one sister Janet (Ray) Schachtel; two brothers Jerry (Rosalie) Frass and Lorne Frass. He also leaves behind several other relatives, extended family and friends. Vern spent most of his life in Moose Jaw working for the Saskatchewan Government Department of Highways for 30 years. He retired in 1997. After retirement he spent his time grooming the yard, gardening, doing wood work and relaxing on the deck enjoying his fish pond and waterfall. His greatest pride and joy were his grandchildren. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 7th, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Father Ken Miller will officiate and burial will take place in Rosedale Cemetery.
