Dorothy Marion Francis

Dorothy Marion (Forge), 87 years old of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan went home to be with her Lord and Savior, May 22, 2007. A Celebration of her Life will be held on Friday, May 25 th, 2007 at 2:00 pm at Hillcrest Apostolic Church, 1550 Main St N. Rev. Allan Buchanan will officiate. Dorothy was born in her parents’ home at Tilney, Sk on October 16, 1919. She married Robert Francis on June 28, 1941 and together they farmed in the Tilney district until they moved to Moose Jaw in 1999. Dorothy loved gardening, family get-togethers, and was an active member of the Hillcrest Apostolic Church. She always had time to talk, and made one feel welcome in her home or at the church. Her final years were spent with the family of caregivers at Providence Place. Dorothy was predeceased by her parents, James and Minnie Forge, and brothers Ralph and Frank Forge. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Robert; children Carol Gregor (Gary), Ron Francis (Linda), Sharon Francis Aichelle (Dale) of Kelowna; sister Marguerite Maynard and brother Norman Forge; 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; numerous other relatives.
