Olga Foster
With sadness and heavy hearts, we announce Olga’s death on Tuesday, February 3rd, 2009 at the age of 83 years. The Graveside Service will be held on Friday, February 6th, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in Rosedale Cemetery with Rev. John Carley officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the gates of Rosedale Cemetery by 12:45 p.m. Olga was born in Viceroy, Saskatchewan. She lived in Assiniboia prior to moving to Moose Jaw in 1972 where she was employed at Army & Navy until her retirement in 1986. She spent her retirement years gardening, shopping and doing jigsaw puzzles. But above all, she enjoyed spending time with her daughters and grandchildren. She was much loved and will be missed by all who knew her. She will be especially remembered for her sense of humour. She was predeceased by her husband Stanley; her sister Mary (Russell) Birchard; and her brother Mike Gorgichuk. Olga will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Marie Beard and Janice (Bill) Taylor; 3 grandchildren, Amanda (Jaden) Schollar, Pamela Taylor and Kevin Taylor; her brother Daniel (Mary) Gorgichuk; her sister in law Shirley Gorgichuk; and numerous other relatives.
