FLEMING (Perkins)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a truly amazing woman.  Betty Fleming born May 4th, 1926 passed away on Monday, January 14th, 2013.  She was predeceased by her husband, Bruce Gordon Fleming; parents, Harry and Elsie Perkins; brother, Ernest Perkins; sister-in-law, Dora Perkins; brother-in-law, Duncan McKay and sister-in-law, Kay Perkins.  Betty is survived by her loving daughters: Donna Lynne (Lori, Kent, Brady, Connor, and Logan), Karen Anne (Mardy, Rosa, Giuliana, Patrick, Mary, Caeley, Braya, Megan and Ryan), and Carolee (Barry, Carter and Lyndsey); sister, Gayle McKay; brothers: Roy, Dean (Dorothy) and Donn (Glennys); sisters-in-law, Willa Wright and Jean (Lou) Dilworth; and numerous nieces and nephews.  The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 19th, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home.  Reverend Tim Ellis will officiate and interment will follow in Rosedale Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Betty’s memory to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Sask., 279 3rd Ave. N., Saskatoon, SK S7K 2H8 or to a charity of one’s choice.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Gary McDowell, Funeral Director. 693-4550.
