George Field

Mr. George Field, aged 95 years of Moose Jaw, Sask., passed away on Monday, July 16 th, 2007. The Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, July 19 th, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home ( 268 Mulberry Lane ) with Rev. Nobuko Iwai officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery. George was born at Boharm, Sask., on September 22 nd, 1911. He received his education at Boharm, Moose Jaw College, Central Collegiate and Normal School. He farmed at Boharm until 1959, at which time he became a partner at Slater and York Men’s Wear until retirement. Predeceased by great-granddaughter, Paige; son-in-law, Dennis Lear. George will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 70 years, Ruth; 2 daughters: Sandra (John) Green, BeverleyLear; 2 grandchildren: Patrick (Tannis) Green and Natasha (Colin) Butters; 4 great-grandchildren Morgan, Tyson, Nathan, and Emily; and numerous other relatives.
