Margaret Jeanette Fessler

Margaret Jeanette Fessler, aged 97 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away on Wednesday, February 13th, 2013, beloved wife of the late Ed Fessler.  She leaves to cherish her memory her sister, Mavis Roseth and sister-in-law, Gwen Lee of Outlook, SK; cherished friend, Ed Cairns of Moose Jaw; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Margaret was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Agnes Lee; her husband, Ed Fessler; brothers: Roy Lee, Kenneth Lee and Norman Lee; sisters, Verna Lee and Harriet Wilson; brothers-in-law: John Wilson, Marvin Roseth, Oscar Fessler and John Fessler; and sisters-in-law: Norma Lee, Dixie Lee and Mary Smith.  Margaret was born on March 3rd, 1915 on the family farm at Macrorie, SK.  She married Ed Fessler on September 17th, 1941 in Drinkwater, SK where they lived on the farm until 1966.  They resided in Moose Jaw from then on.  Margaret and Ed enjoyed many years of travel, mainly to Palm Springs and Long Beach, CA.  She was a resident of Mulberry Estates at the time of her passing.  The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 19th, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home.  Reverend Larry Henningsen will officiate and interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.  For those so wishing, donations in Margaret’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 61B Ross St. W., Moose Jaw, SK S6H 2M2 or to a charity of one’s choice.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  James Murdock, Funeral Director. 693-4550.
