Edward Amos Fessler

Edward Amos Fessler, aged 99 years of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan passed away on Thursday, October 25th, 2007. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday October 31st, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Rev. Nobuko Iwai will officiate and the interment will take place at Rosedale Cemetery. Ed was born on August 25th, 1908 at Shickley, Nebraska. Ed came to Canada with his family in 1912 and later became a Canadian Citizen. Ed married Margaret J. Lee in 1941. He farmed near Drinkwater from 1926 to 1970. Ed and Margaret lived on the farm until 1966 when they moved to Moose Jaw. He was in Extendicare from January 2005 until his passing. Ed was predeceased by his father William Fessler, mother Fredereaka(Brasch) Fessler two brothers, Oscar and John. Ed is survived by his wife of 66 years Margaret and a sister Mary Smith as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
