Marjorie Ferrara (née Akins) passed away peacefully at Extendicare in Moose Jaw on Sunday, June 10th, 2012 with her loving family by her side.  She was predeceased by her husband, Alfio (Slim), five brothers and three sisters.  Marge leaves to mourn her son, Blaine (Lorraine); grandson, Michael; granddaughter, Cheryl (Ryan) Horne; great-granddaughters: Nevaeh, Severyn and Romi Ferrara Horne; sister, Iris Watson; sisters-in-law: Melva Aikens, Mabel and Peg Akins, and Helen Kelly; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.  The family would like to thank the staff at Chez Nous and Extendicare for their excellent care in the last 18 months.  A Celebration of Marge’s life will be held on Friday, June 15th, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home with Eleanor Akins officiating.  She will be laid to rest at Sunset Cemetery with her husband, Alfio.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Marge’s name may be made to a charity of one’s choice.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Todd Sjoberg, Funeral Director. 693-4550
