Myrtle Ellen Ferbrache
Myrtle Ellen Ferbrache (nee Carter) of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan passed away on June 16th, 2009 at the age of 89 years. She lived on a farm in the Eskbank District. Myrtle moved to Moose Jaw and worked at the Steam Laundry. She married Wilfred Peter Ferbrache on August 6th, 1949. Myrtle was predeceased by her husband Wilfred in 1968; her parents Olive and Leslie Carter; her brothers Ronald and Cecil; and sisters Edith and Beulah. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Linda (Russ) Becker and Kathleen (Garry) Downton; grandchildren Dodie (Brent) Deets, Colinda (Kelly) Ray, Tammy (Tony) Dreger, Michael Downton (Hayley); great grandchildren Justine and Dalton Deets, Dillon and Tyson Ray, Riley Dreger, and Phoenix Downton; her sister Alice Talbot; her brothers Lovell (Francis) Carter and Jim Carter; and numerous other family. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, June 20th, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Rosedale Cemetery. Pastor Marvin Seaborg will officiate. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at Moose Jaw Funeral Home on Saturday, June 20th at 10:45 a.m. to process to the cemetery. The family would like to thank Dr. Majid and the staff at the Union Hospital for their final care of our mother and also the staff at Chez Nous.
