James Keith Elder

James Keith Elder passed away peacefully at his home in Moose Jaw, SK on Monday, November 24th, 2014, surrounded by loved ones and his dogs.  Jim was born October 1st, 1954 in Estevan, SK.  He was the oldest of 7 siblings, a grandfather, father, husband, uncle and a well-known friend to many.  After 30 years at CPR, he had recently retired.  Jim is survived by his wife, Susan; son, Stephen (Tabitha and grandson Reef); son, Taylor (Nadine, grandsons Karsen and Larkin); and daughter, Layne (Devon).  A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 29th, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in Zion United Church, 423 Main St N, Moose Jaw, SK with Reverend Douglas Hallman officiating.  The family wishes to express their appreciation for the support and donations already received.  As an expression of sympathy, donation in Jim’s name may be made to The Moose Jaw Humane Society, Box 1658 Station Main, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 7K7.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  James Murdock, Funeral Director 306-693-4550.
