Jessie Eidem
Jessie Eidem, 91, of Saskatoon, formerly a long time resident of Moose Jaw, passed away on August 19th, 2009 at St. Paul’s Hospital, Saskatoon. She is survived by her daughter, Mavis (Al) Procyshyn, and grandchildren Sean (Paula) Procyshyn, David Procyshyn, and Tara (Dallas) Williams. She was predeceased in 1991 by her husband, Henry; her parents Peter and Mary Robertson; siblings & their spouses – Dan (Margaret) Robertson, Chris (Charlie) Shaw and May (Bill) King. Jessie was born in Swift Current and graduated from Providence Hospital School of Nursing in Moose Jaw in 1939. She devoted her life to the nursing profession until her retirement. She participated in many church activities and also curled, bowled, and was a member of Eastern Star and the Scandinavian Club. In 2006, Jessie moved to Saskatoon and made many new friends at her new home, Luther Tower. She will be remembered as a great mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Please join the family in a Celebration of Jessie’s Life on Saturday, September 26th, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane. Rev. John Carley of Minto United Church will officiate and interment will take place in Rosedale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those so wishing may make a donation in Jessie’s name to the Moose Jaw Humane Society, Box 1658 Station Main, Moose Jaw, Sask.
