Larry Adam Dushinski
With heavy hearts, the family of Larry Adam Dushinski announces his passing on Saturday, April 21st, 2018 at the age of 63 years, after a four month battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his father, Mike Dushinski. Larry will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 41 years, Kim; daughters: Jana (Ryan) Okrainetz, CJ Dushinski, and Lauren (Travis) Ells; very special granddaughters, Isabella and Charlie Okrainetz; mother, Wanda Dushinski; brother, Bob (Dianna) Dushinski; sister, Lynn (Steve) Morrison; brother-in-law, Jim (Sheila) Inkson; sisters-in-law: Bertha (Murray) Carnegie, Helen (Ted) Renkas, Loretta (Bill) Mathison, and Thelma (Alan) Inkson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Larry was born on January 17th, 1955 in Ituna, SK. After completing a Bachelor of Administration degree from the University of Regina in 1977, he moved to Moose Jaw, SK where he spent his career as an entrepreneur and teacher. He owned and operated Elite Eavestroughing for many years, and in the early 1990’s started BL Software. He was also an instructor in the Business Division of Saskatchewan Polytechnic for over 20 years. Larry was a kind hearted, generous and fun loving person. He loved his family, sports, spending time with Kim at their condo in Florida, and working on computers. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 28th, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Father George Thattubarambil will officiate and interment will take place at Moose Jaw Columbarium. Flowers are gratefully declined. As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Larry may be made to Camp Circle of Friends, 901 1st Ave N, Saskatoon, SK S7K 1Y4 or to a charity of one’s choice.
