Diane Dunlop
Diane Dunlop of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 17th, 2009. The Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 22nd, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 1064 3rd Ave. N.W. Father Neil Osiowy will be Presiding Celebrant and interment will take place at Rosedale Cemetery. A Prayer Service will be held on Monday, December 21st, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Diane was born on March 23rd, 1927 to Joe and Yvette Arguin of Coderre, Sk. In 1947 she married Douglas (Scottie) Dunlop. Together they started their lives in Mortlach where they raised a family of four, three boys and one girl. Diane was always involved in the community, whether it be sewing costumes for the ice shows or hosting a baby or bridal shower. Her time was always readily available. In 1973 they moved their family into Moose Jaw where Diane became involved in ceramics, painting, golfing and gardening. She was a master at all. Diane was employed for a time at Eaton’s in the catalogue department. Diane and Scottie spent numerous winters in sunny Arizona, enjoying the weather, friends and golfing. Diane was predeceased by her husband Scottie; her parents Joe and Yvette Arguin; her brother Ivan Arguin; and an infant great granddaughter McKayla along with numerous brothers and sisters in law. She will be lovingly remembered by her children and their families Dennis (Karen, David, Jesse, Jen and Britton), Cliff (Doris, Courtney, Isidore, Logan, Hailey, Kaleb, Jason, Krysta and Todd), Dwight(Michelle, and Noah), Wendy (Garry, Scott, Jarred and Jenna); her brother Syl (Mabel) Arguin; sister Rina (Rene) Huel; sister in law Leona Arguin; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Flowers are respectfully declined. For those so wishing, memorial donations may be made in Diane’s name to the Canadian Diabetes Assoc., 917A Albert St., Regina, Sk, S4R 2P6 or a charity of one’s choice.
