Caroline Dunlop
Caroline Dunlop, aged 68 years of Moose Jaw, passed away on Saturday, March 8th, 2008 at the Union Hospital. The Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, March 12th, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home with Father Alex Osei officiating. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. Public Visitation will take place on Tuesday, March 11th from 7:30 p.m.- 8:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Predeceased by her parents Charles and Mary Reineke, four sisters and two brothers. Caroline will be sadly missed and loving remembered by her husband of 40 years, Grant; one brother Richard (Olga) Reineke; sisters-in-law: Vera Reineke and Gertie Reineke; brothers-in-law: Art Crone and Billy (Anne) Dunlop and numerous other relatives. Caroline was born at Humboldt, SK on January 23rd, 1940 and raised in the Carmel district. After graduation from school she obtained her administrative certificate. Caroline went on to work at Eaton’s, Providence Hospital and was a long time employee of Moose Jaw Sash & Door where she was affectionately known as “Dunnie”. She married Grant Dunlop on August 11th, 1967. Caroline enjoyed spending time at the cottage with her husband and their dog “Scotty” and entertaining all those who stopped by to visit. Caroline was a very classy lady which was reflected in her gardening and home. She was particularly noted for her skills in baking, cooking, canning and sewing. As an expression of sympathy, memorials to a Charity of One’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
