She married Jacob Christmann in 1932 and moved to Secretan where they raised their family. Annie was predeceased by her parents; her first husband Jacob Christmann in 1966; her second husband Thomas Ditch in 1975; brother Paul; sisters Olga, Erna, Eva, Tillie and Isabelle; stepsons Rienhold and Bernhart; Bernhart’s wife Margaret; sons-in-law John Dion, Cy Ellision and George McConnell. She is survived by her sons Siegfred, Leonhart (Karen), Ralph andRaymond (Lillian); daughters Doris Dion and Irene (Ben) Dumas; stepson Walter (Francis) and Rienhold’s wife Carrie; stepdaughters Erna Ellision, Agnes McConnell and Eleanor (Bob) Marland; her brothers Walter, Eddie and Ben; 33 grandchildren; and 55 great grandchildren. Annie Ingold came to Secretan at a young age to look after a widower’s house and children. She later married that widower and together Annie and Jacob had six children. Annie loved gardening and flowers. After a hard day of cooking and housework, she loved to go work in her garden. She said it help her to relax. Gardening was always a joy to her. In the spring she would come alive and have such a passion to be in her garden. As she toiled, the flowers flourished with her love and care. Annie worked in her garden into her 92nd year. She loved playing cards. She even managed to bring a deck of cards to the hospital with her. Annie enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was always ready to babysit whenever she was needed. She made sure to always have baked goodies for them, especially her homemade bread. We know that Annie is now in God’s garden where everything is always beautiful. We will miss you Annie (Mother) but you will always be in our hearts. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 15th, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Pastor Marvin Seaborg will officiate and burial will take place at Sunset Cemetery.
