Bernard (Bernie) Arthur Delorme

Bernard (Bernie) Arthur Delorme, passed away peacefully at 10:55 p.m. on October 2nd, 2013 at the age of 79 years. Bernie was born May 18th, 1934 on the family farm at St. Victor, Sk. He was predeceased by his mother Lucia (Leduc); father Leo; step mother Marie (Emond); mother and father in law Ernest and Marie Bourassa; infant brother Camille; brother Andre; sisters Odette Chevrier, Sylvianne Lamontagne and Lise West; brothers in law Tom West, Lionel Lamontagne, Robert Cote, Fernand Chevrier; sister in law Delia Cossette; and brother in law Francois. Bernie is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Cecile (Bourassa); children Yvan (Nicole), Robert (Kelley), Gisele (Roger) Rondeau and Janice (Leonard) Tremblay; grandchildren Jason (Donna) Delorme, Chris (Chantelle) Brillon, Danielle (Doug) Smith, Tanner (Melissa) Delorme, Danette (Jamie) Spagrud, Jamie Lee (Graeme) Tremblay, Joshua Delorme, Mackenzie Delorme, Derek Tremblay, Kolwyn and Karter Horsman; and 5 great granddaughters. He is also survived by his sisters Fernande Cote, Colette (Harry) Morgan; brothers Leo Paul (Darlene), Johnny (Florence), Daniel (Claire) and Guy; sisters in law Bertha and Shirley Delorme; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. We would like to thank Dr. Jamie Stushnoff and the nursing staff of MJUH, ICU and Medicine Ward first floor, who treated him with such tremendous care and respect. Also thank you for the support provided to his family during this difficult time. A Prayer Service will be held on Sunday, October 6th, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 1064 3rd Ave. N.W., Moose Jaw. The Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 7th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make a donation in Bernie’s name to the Moose Jaw Right-to-Life, P.O.
