Donald Arthur “Dizz” Dean
Donald Arthur “Dizz” Dean, aged 69 years of the Central Butte District, passed away on Wednesday, July 3rd, 2013. Donald was born in Central Butte and was raised on the family farm at Lawson. He was a longtime resident of the Central Butte District where he farmed and worked various jobs until his passing. He enjoyed playing baseball and that is how he got the nickname Dizz. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was predeceased by his father, Edward (Ted); his wife, Verna; and sister, Marlene. Donald will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Rose; sisters: Judi (Don) Shields, Dianna (Bruce) James and Donna Dean; brother-in-law, Glen Ecklund; nephews: Calvin, Dwight, Jordan, Brendon, Austin and Braxton; uncle, John Turchak and families; aunt, Anne Kozak and families; as well as special neighbors and friends. Please join us on Saturday, September 14th, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Moose Jaw Union Centre Hall, 1402 Caribou St. W., Moose Jaw, SK to celebrate Dizz’s life.
