Charles Michael (Chuck) Deagle
Charles Michael (Chuck) Deagle passed away peacefully with his family by his side, on December 28th, 2009. He is survived by his loving wife Joyce, his children Tracey and Larry Fox, Bruce and Alison Deagle, and Steve and Kate Deagle and his grandchildren Bailly, Jared, Kaitlin and Dawson Fox, Danielle Parker, Tyson, Zachery and Wyatt Deagle. Chuck was born in Moose Jaw on June 29, 1932 as the only child to Gordon and Evangeline Deagle, who raised him in the community of Archydal (near present day Caronport). He married Joyce Eby, and they continued on the family farm for the rest of his life. Chuck was a graduate of Peacock Technical High School. As well as farming, he had other pursuits in the community including working for the Summerside phone company, driving school bus, and serving as a Councillor for the R.M. of Caron #162. He enjoyed many activities with his family and friends including time at Grandview Beach, curling, fly in fishing trips to McTavish Lake in Northern Saskatchewan, camping, downhill skiing and snowmobiling. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 24 Oxford Street West, Moose Jaw with Pastor Barry Gammie officiating. For those so wishing, memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church.
