Alice Dora Cyrenne
Alice Dora Cyrenne, aged 64 years of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 23rd, 2007 with her family by her side. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 27th, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 1064 3rd Ave. N.W. Father Alex Osei and Father Francis Folleh will concelebrate. A private family interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. A Vigil Prayer Service will be held on Friday, October 26th, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home (268 Mulberry Lane). Alice was raised with her 16 siblings in Val Marie, SK. She married Lionel on April 25th, 1962, in Val Marie. Together they settled in Moose Jaw where they raised their four daughters. Alice was always a devoted wife and mother, and her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. Alice worked for many years as a manager in the retail business until her retirement in 1997. Since retiring, she and Lionel traveled extensively together across Canada and abroad. They also enjoyed camping with the Good Sam Club and spending their winters in Mexico. Predeceased by her parents and numerous other relatives, Alice will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 45 years, Lionel; four daughters: Colleen (Wayne) Mitchell, Michelle (David) Steele, Gail Cyrenne and Lisa Cyrenne (Norm Renwick); eight grandchildren: Taylor, Rogan and Jaxon Mitchell, Alex and Henry Steele, Kurtis (Chay Anderson), Lukas and Haylee Haubrick; great-grandson Elijah Haubrick and numerous other relatives. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 2360-2nd Ave. Regina, SK S4R 1A6 would be appreciated by the family.
