Pearl Joyce Croissant
Pearl Joyce Croissant, aged 89 years of Moose Jaw, SK passed away on Tuesday, February 27th, 2018. Pearl was born on December 6th, 1928 in the Hodgeville District, SK and grew up on the family farm north of town. She married Raymond Croissant on November 18th, 1948 and they farmed in the Woodrow district, where they raised their family of three sons. In 1975, they moved to Lafleche, SK and continued farming from there until 2010 when they retired to Moose Jaw. Pearl was an immaculate housekeeper who kept busy helping on the farm, gardening, sewing, and was known to be a fabulous cook. She was actively involved in church activities at Woodrow Gospel Chapel, including teaching Sunday School, and singing in the choir and ladies trio. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the highlight of her life and she loved spending time with them. She was predeceased by her parents, Otto and Olga Senft; sister, Lorraine Siebel; and brother, Clarence Senft. Pearl is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Raymond; sons: Delwin (Evelyn) Croissant, Elroy Croissant, and Marlon (Janice) Croissant; grandchildren: Janelle (Dan) Hobbs, Vanessa Laroque, Taylor Croissant (MiYeon Kim), Clarke Croissant (Lindsay Hart), and Allysha Croissant; great-grandchildren: Emma-Kate and Easton Hobbs, and Gannon Laroque; brothers and sisters-in-law: Ervin Siebel, Murray (Junette) Croissant, Selma Godlien, and Janet Croissant; as well as several nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 3rd, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Reverend Taylor Croissant and Reverend MiYeon Kim will officiate and interment will take place in Sunset Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.
