Larry Wayne Cranston
Larry Wayne Cranston born April 7th, 1941 passed away on Monday, June 29th, 2009 with his family by his side. Larry was predeceased by his mother Grace. He is survived by his wife Virginia (Potsy, Ace); his sons Dean (Tammy) of Kelowna, B.C. and Rory of Moose Jaw; his daughter Delee of Moose Jaw; his granddaughter Raylee; his father Roy Cranston of Creston, B.C.; and his brothers Randy (Judith, Levan) and Rick. Larry had an impact on everyone he met, starting with his early sports days and his teaching career. As a travelling salesman, Larry knew everybody in southern Saskatchewan. His entrepreneurship built a small husband/wife landscaping business into a thriving company. Larry did nothing by half measure – he enjoyed life to the fullest. As an avid hunter and guide, Larry was rarely seen without a black lab at his side. Larry has booked a “tea” time on Saturday, July 4th, 2009 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. in the Harvey Room at Moose Jaw Funeral Home and the 19th hole to follow at the Sportsman’s Centre, 276 Home St. East. For those so wishing, memorial donations in memory of Larry may be made to the Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation, 9 Lancaster Rd., Moose Jaw, Sask. S6J 1M8.
