Robert “Bob” Crabbe
Robert “Bob” Crabbe, aged 74 years of Buffalo Pound Lake, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on September 30th, 2010. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, October 4th, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home with Reverend Doug Shepherd officiating. Bob was an avid outdoorsman and naturalist. This was best exemplified for 10 years when he was the operator of the Moose Jaw Wildlife Federation portable walleye hatchery on Buffalo Pound Lake. Bob was very proud of all of his family and enjoyed spending time with them while camping, fishing, boating, water sports, card playing and shore lunches. Bob was predeceased by his brothers Tommy, Ed, Art (Gladys Michele), sister Lindy, parents Jean and Phil, and in-laws Bertha and Edward. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Ev; children Darrell (Glenda) and their children Brett and Devin, Rick, Kelly (Debbie) and their children Josh and Jordan, Terry (Gord) Sears and their daughter Aimee (Brad) Petroschuk; siblings Lorraine (Joe), Bill (Doreen), Ray (Brenda), Ken (Marielle), Darwin (Arlene), Don (Laurel) and Gary (Cindy); and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob’s name may be made to the Allan Blair Cancer Centre, c/o Pasqua Hospital, 4101 Dewdney Ave., Regina, SK. S4T 7T1 or to the Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation, 9 Lancaster Road, Moose Jaw, SK. S6J 1M8.
