Mabel Crabb
Mabel Crabb (nee Saunders), formerly of Radisson and Borden, passed away June 2nd surrounded by her family, at the Pioneer Lodge in Moose Jaw at the age of 95. She is predeceased by her loving husband John in 1976; parents Walter and Annie Saunders; sisters Jean Newman, Audrey Krischke, and Evelyn Enns; and son-in-law Barry McLean. Mabel is lovingly remembered by her children: Doreen McLean, Larry (Helen), and Byron (Beth). She was so special to her 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, her nieces, nephews, and countless friends and relatives.
Mabel is remembered for her cheery smile and willingness to participate in all community and social activities. She was very active in the Anglican Church, a lifelong WA and choir member. Music and flowers were such a joy to her. She was also involved in the Homemakers Club, Home and School Assn., Agriculture Society, and a life member of the IODE.
A very special thanks to the Borden Home Care, and all who have helped and enabled Mabel to remain in her own home for as long as possible. If desired, in lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to St Johns Anglican Church in Borden SK. A Memorial Service will be held in Borden later in July.
