Bill (Wilfred) Chubb
With heavy hearts I wish to inform all the family and friends of Bill (Wilfred) Chubb of his passing on April 19th, 2024, after an extended hospital stay at both the Moose Jaw Dr. F.H Wigmore and the Regina General Hospital.
He leaves his wife of 50 years, Paulette Chubb; son, Ken with children: Jenny, Dakota, Braxton, Shyann and Abby; daughter, Tricia with children: David, Devin and Delaney and son, Alex.
Bill was predeceased by his father, Morley and his mother, Hilda; sister, Iona and brother, Lloyd. He will be remembered by his brothers, Dennis and Grant and his sister, Barb.
Bill was born in Assiniboia, SK on June 8th, 1957. The family moved to Moose Jaw, grew up and lived there for the rest of their lives. Bill had many kinds of jobs. He enjoyed working with his brother Lloyd doing furniture moving and driving semi and truck for the Wheat Pool on Lillooet. If Bill could drive, then he loved the job.
Bill also loved to make people laugh. He loved the flower garden that he plated every year, animals and watching drag racing with Alex ever evening. They cheered and rooted for their favorite racers and booed at the bad guys with a yahoo at the end.
He had a special place in his heart for his grandchildren with whom he loved very much.
A celebration of Bill’s life for family and friends will be held at a later date. Donations in Bill’s name may be made too the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Sask. 100-119 14 Street NW Calgary, AB T2N 1Z6. Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.
