Eileen Rose Chambers

Eileen Rose Chambers, aged 90 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away Wednesday, October 12th, 2011.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 19th, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Elrose, SK.  Father Pius Schroh will be the presiding celebrant and interment will take place in Clearwater Consolidated Cemetery, Kyle, SK.  She was predeceased by her daughter Maureen in infancy; husbands, Mario Facca and Wilbert Chambers; companion, Gordon Gunness; daughter-in-law, Darlene Facca and brothers: Eugene, Carl and Ernie.  Eileen is survived by her son, Leonard (Evelyn) Facca; daughter, LeanneFacca; grandchildren: Lauralee (Tim) and their children Taylor and Jelania, Robert and Lisa; sisters: Ida, Emma, Eva, Theresa (John) and Helen (Bill); and brothers, Bill and Al.  Eileen was the oldest daughter of 11 children.  She owned Eileen Ladies Wear in Kindersley, SK. and was passionate about sewing, becoming an excellent seamstress.  Eileen was also passionate about painting and learned to paint china while wintering in Mesa.  In later years she spent winters in Oliver, BC.  She loved dancing, played the organ at Brock Roman Catholic Church and also played the keyboard for many years of entertainment.  Eileen truly loved Clearwater Lake and the beautiful sunrises found there.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 61B Ross St. W., Moose Jaw, SK S6H 2M2.
